What kit do I need for PE?

January 2022

Dear Parents/carers

We have been noticing that many of our children do not have the correct kit needed for PE lessons and physical activities. With many exciting opportunities planned throughout the year, it is essential that they have the correct PE kit in school at all times.
The school PE kit is an extension of school uniform and with many outside sports clubs and schools visiting Prospect Vale, we want to ensure our pupils are representing our school in the correct way. This is also essential for health and safety reasons.

*INDOOR KIT*

To clarify, this is –    Red Prospect Vale T-shirt (or plain red T-shirt with no logos)
                           -     Black shorts/black fitted sports leggings for girls.
                           -     Black pumps. (most indoor lessons are done in bare feet)

*OUTDOOR KIT*

This is -                  Tracksuit/Jogging bottoms and hoodie.
                          -    Trainers/outdoor sports shoes.

Please ensure that ALL earrings are not worn and all watches are removed on PE days. Long hair should be tied up.

PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL YOUR CHILDRENS BELONGINGS ARE CLEARLY LABELED.

It is a statutory requirement for children to take part in 2 hours of PE/Games each week. To support you as parents, class teachers will be in touch with you if your child repeatedly forgets their PE kit.

Thank you for your co-operation.
