Welcome to EYFS!

In Nursery we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and love to learn through exploring our environment. We have lots of exciting learning spaces throughout the school. 

For most of our sessions we can choose where we continue our learning, inside or outside. We do lots of learning through active play, we have sand and water exploration, mark-making, construction, reading and role play areas to name a few! All of which is structured to ensure we make outstanding progress in all areas of development. 
 
We firmly believe in having lots of fun, having a go, following our interests and learning through play.

We are truly proud of our Nursery children and are grateful of such supportive parents. We are always available to speak to you should you have any concerns, please contact the office to arrange an appointment. 

Parents / carers, please keep an eye out for updates on your Tapestry account for observations and home learning activities :)
If you are having any issues with your account / logging in please speak to any member of the EYFS team and we will look into this for you.

We will send out a letter to give you access to Floppy's Phonics from home. We will let you know which book we are looking at that week through Tapestry.

Important weekly information:

• Reading book change day - every Wednesday
  
• PE - Tuesday morning and Thursday afternoon (no kit needed)
• Homework - we will share ideas of how to consolidate your child's learning at home through Tapestry.
  (Monday - Literacy, Wednesday - Understanding the World / Expressive Arts and Design, Friday - Maths)
