Welcome to Year 3

Hello and welcome to Year 3 Beijing class! I am Mrs Pammenter and I have the pleasure of teaching Year 3 this Year.

Our class topic is: Stone age to Iron Age

We will be exploring the British life from the Stone Age to the Iron Age times, learning about where and how people lived and comparing them to life today. On Thursday 19th September 2023 we will be visiting the farm area at Tatton Park, in order to take part in a Stone-Age to Iron-Age 'Living History' day.

The children will learn about what life was like in the past. They will handle historical artefacts, gain hands-on experience of ancient technology and skill and take part in outdoor team work.

Things to remember:

Spelling books need to be in school every Wednesday. Spellings will also be put on the Google classroom each week.

Homework will be put on the Google classroom on Friday and should be returned by Wednsday, through the Google classroom, or on paper where this isn't possible.

Book changing day is Wednesday, where possible. Please try to read daily and ensure that diaries are signed by an adult.

P.E is on a Tuesday and Thursday (for this half term) Then it will be be a Monday and Thursday. Please ensure your child has the correct PE kit in school at all times. Please see the kit list in the files below.

Please help us by bringing your books/folders/ kits on the correct day!

Snack are no longer provided for Key Stage 2. Please send in a fruit snack daily.
