Roman Deva Experience Trip
On our school trip on Thursday the children were transported back to the time of the Romans, where we travlled across the sea to North Brittania, To the Roman Fortress of Deva. they boarded a ship and learnt why the Romans invaded Britain and built the fortress of Deva and what it was like to live in Chester as a Roman Soldier nearly 200 years ago.
The class were enlisted into the Roman Army, where we met a veteran of the legion who put the children through their paces and work together as a team to become the finest soliders the world has ever seen!
