WOW basketball day with Paul Sturgess

We were so lucky to be able to welcome former Harlem Globetrotter and guiness world record breaker Paul Sturgess into school at the end of the summer term.

Paul came and spent the day with us - starting with a whole school assembly, working with all the classes individually and coming together at the end of the day to do a Q&A session with the children, and it really was a fantastic day.

The look on the children's faces when I first introduced Paul in the assembly was a moment in PV's history!

I'm sure this will be a day our pupils (and staff!) will be talking about for a long time to come.......
