Smile for a mile - Whole school challenge -Week 4 update!

We have just finished week 4 of our Year 1 - Year 6 Smile for a mile challenge.

Our children are pushing themselves each week and we are seeing some fantastic improvements from everyone. The pupils are setting their own personal challenge of how many laps they would like to acheive and many are already accomplishing it!

A particularly Big WELL DONE to Mr Gray and Mrs Hampson who are running weekly with Year 5 (I am not counting their lap scores with the class but they are setting the pace on the teachers leaderboard!)

UPDATE -

Week 3 - 1st place, Year 5 with 363 laps

                2nd place, Year 4 with 349 laps

                3rd place, Year 6 with 324 laps

Year 3, 266 laps. Year 2, 254 laps. Year 1, 198 laps. Whole school total = 1754 laps/126.5 miles!!

Week 4 - 1st place, Year 5 with 393 laps

                2nd place, Year 3 with 323 laps

                3rd place, Year 4 with 295 laps

Year 6, 289 laps. Year 2, 240 laps. Year 1, 180 laps. Whole school total = 1720 laps/122.5 miles!!

WELL DONE ALL OUR FABULOUS CHILDREN :)

**AFTER WEEK 4 - WHOLE SCHOOL TOTAL = 7077 LAPS/504.5 MILES!! WOW**
