Smile for a mile - Whole school Autumn challenge!
Today, the whole school has taken part in week 2 of the Smile for a mile challenge with Mrs Hall and Mrs O'Hare.
Each class start with a dynamic warm-up and then are given 10 minutes to complete as many laps of the playground as they can.
The theme of this years Stockport SHAPES school competitions is 'Bounce to Birmingham' (where the Commonwealth Games will take place from 28th July 2022) and each individual, class and school will total up how many times they have run to Birmingham and back - Birmingham is 78 miles (via the M6!) from Heald Green.
The children have all been fabulous and we are seeing some superstar athletes in the making already.

We are so proud of how hard the children are all trying and in particular, our Key Stage 1 children. Some of our Year 1's and 2's have been doing as many laps as some of the childen who are much older than them which is AMAZING!
