January and February PE in Year 2

In Year 2 we have been working super hard in PE.

We have been focusing on ways to use the apparatus - travelling, balancing, jumping, rolling and climbing with skill.

We have used the climbing frame safely, supporting our class peers and conquering some fears many of the children had. The childrens confidence has grown massively and are able to select and perform sequences they have constructed.

The class have worked individually, in pairs and small groups. They showed incredible communication skills as they led their partners across apparatus and obstcles blindfolded, giving clear and accurate verbal instructions..
