Greater Manchester Indoor Athletics Transition competition @Sports City

Today, 8 of our Year 6 pupils were selected to represent the school at the athletics competition at SportCity. There were over 25 Primary and Secondary schools taking part and our pupils showed fantastic team work, determination and sportsmanship as they took part in their events.

All our pupils competed amazingly and were a credit to Prospect Vale!

Maddie won The Spirit of the games award for Passion. She showed great determination as she pushed herself to do her very best for her team and acheived a fantastic individual 2nd place in the 400 metres.

Mrs Hall and Mrs O'Hare were very proud of all the pupils, and Mrs Hall particularly enjoyed showing the team the Etihad Stadium!
