Nursery Elf on the Shelf Week 2

Date: 10th Dec 2020 @ 3:21pm

This week, we arrived to see a big surprise. We came into the classroom ready to wash our hands when.. what was this? Wrapping paper all over the entrance to the toilets! A sign from Elfie was stuck to the wrapping paper recommending that we don't play with tape as he had got himself stuck to the wall. He also left us a Christmas card asking if we had been pracitsing our Christmas wrapping too? All of us then had to have a think about how we could get into the toilets to wash our hands without knocking Elfie off the wall. Somone said a chainsaw, so we used our plastic saw from our construction area and very carefully made a hole big enough for us to get through, PHEW!

Tuesday appeared very calm when we found Elfie had been reading a Peppa Pig story to our small world people. It looked like they were having a great time. Some of us thought he had maybe been playing teachers. On Wednesday, Elfie was found with lots of crayons around him having drawn a wonderful picture of himself. We came up with some kind words to use to describe his drawing, we said his work was good and beautiful. Thursday came around very quickly and Elfie had been making some snow balls! He had also placed some in our small world area for us to play with. He left us a note asking if we would like to play a snow ball fight. We had lots of fun playing.

Finally, on Friday Elfie had climbed up and was swinging from one of our classroom decorations next to our Literacy display! It's been another exciting week finding Elfie up to his tricks. One more week of mischief to go :)
